Our Commitment

We are committed to promoting and funding healthcare programs and services that meet the needs of Castlegar and surrounding area community members. To help us achieve our goals, we have a Community Health and Wellness Advisory Team comprised of local residents, front line staff, a physician, a community administrator and the Mayor of Castlegar.

We believe it is vitally important to work closely with local organizations, service groups and government to create a healthy, caring and vibrant community for everyone to enjoy.

The Castlegar Health Centre services are available to residents of: The City of Castlegar, Area “I” and “J” of the Central Kootenay Regional District, (which includes the communities of Pass Creek, Thrums, Tarrys, Shoreacres, Glade, Brilliant, Ootischenia, Robson, Renata, Deer Park, Brooklyn, Shields, Raspberry, Syringa, and Fairview).
